Becoming Wind

By July 28, 2016thoughts

She quietly leaves her place of shelter
Walking out into the street
Soft and gentle air brushes her cheeks
Creating a rosy glow
Moving, and pondering life
Suddenly, Unbalanced
A full breeze blows in all directions
Taking with it the dark, polluted sky
Her mind begins to swirl
Creating, imagining, endless possibilities
Faster, stronger movement of the gust
Rustles her hair, tickles her skin
Calling adventure, yelling for courage
Trees blow, throwing leaves to the ground
Taking cares and troubles
from its branches as she is released
The tornado comes
Tearing apart everything
Within it’s path
She runs for cover,
Again, hiding from the fear
