One of my favorite dishes for Passover is Charoset.  Back in the day before I had my electric food processor, I would hand grate the apples until my knuckles bled.  LOL, that’s what my grandma would say!

Hands-On Time:  Depends on how fast you can peel and chop!

Serves 8-10 (makes 6 cups)

1 cup crushed walnuts
1 cup dried cranberries
1/2-cup fresh orange juice
1/4-cup kosher red wine (such as Manischewitz)
1/2-teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 crisp Gala apples, peeled and chopped
4 crisp Granny Smith apples, peeled and chopped

In a large bowel, combine all ingredients together.
Cover and place in the refrigerator overnight.
Serve chilled on matzo or just eat it for fun.
